John Tipper

Originally from the UK, John emigrated to New Zealand near the start of his working life. With a background in Aviation Management and Logistics, he has spent the past 15 years as a disaster management professional working long-term in complex emergencies and natural disasters in countries including South Sudan, Iraq, the Balkans, Indonesia and the Philippines.

He is the Managing Director of Relief Advisory International, a consultancy offering bespoke training to international humanitarian organisations, whose recent clients are from Norway, the UK, the Netherlands and Canada.

John is currently engaged in coaching and mentoring roles with Local Faith Actors who are providing educational programming to communities displaced by civil war.
